The syslog server stores operating
system logs from the entire enterprise in a central depository. In
the database the entries can be inspected and analyzed using
Datagram's powerful SyslogView.

From SyslogView alarms can be defined by a few mouse clicks, and
complemended by user SQL syntax if desired.
All network equipment and Unix flavors
supports the Syslog protocol (RFC 3164). For Windows servers and
clients a small service, Datagram SyslogAgent, is added in order to
provide support for Syslog.
